Minimum System Requirements
Ive been waiting to play this game for quite some time now and i finally bought it. What i wasnt aware of was the minimal requirements for this game which i paid 60$ for and cant play because i lack the requirements. i have 8 GB of ram running on windows 8 on 64 bit and using 2 2.9 GHz intel processors and when i start the game it gives the small logo then errors saying that i dont meet the requirements. Im sure that it is my processor that needs to be updated. id like to know what processors anyone else who managed to play this game is using and any tips on how to fix that at no cost if necessary.

i use a gt 730 with a sempron 3850 with 4gb of ram. and it is at least stable enough to play smoothly on low as possible settings

I have this issue too. Most of the time, the game will start and run 1080p at a very solid framerate but the last few times I've tried to run the game it throws this error up. I'm on an Alienware 13 at the moment - is there a way of disabling the error message?

Sorry to hear you can't play, but always check the minimum stats before buying a game. Just because you buy a new PC or laptop off the shelf, you think that it can handle any game...
PC makers and stores have cheap as that is what sells mostly...
Step 1...If you want a gaming rig, buy a copy of 'PC GAMER' and look at the rigs in there...do not go for the cheapest ones there either.
Or just build a rig like many of us do... (easier said than done, if you do not have the knowledge...see step 1)

x4 965BE below minimum recommended and FX8350 recommended both work fine.

It's kind of hard to guess why you can't play it on your intel cpu intel is supposed to be like a GOD and all games submit to it,lol.

Seriously, what cpu G , i3 , i5 ???/ gpu / res are you using, tower or laptop?

Did you try going straight to custom settings?

No excuses. Minimum requirements are there for a reason.
Next time look them up before making your purchase, I can't believe this is not obvious enough.

My processor is an Intel Pentium CPU G645 @ Dual 2.90 GHz. So it probably isnt the hertz that is keeping me from playing it so it must be that i need a new processor or a new video card

I had just scanned my computer to see if im compatible to play it via a website called systemrequirementslab.com it gave me the results that i need both a new processor and a video card. my processor is a G and the minimum is an i5-2500 as well my video card is outdated and i require an AMD radeon 1GB VRAM.

I'm running in on an i3-3240 with an asus r9 270x on an asus z77 lx mobo and 8 gb corsair ram. Minimum fps is 15 and that is full on slaughterhouse zombie killing mode.

So what GPU have you got now?

The minimum 6870 1GB requirement is a bit of a stretch on techlands part it plays it but it isn't that enjoyable at all, low settings 1080p.

I have an Intel HD graphics card @ 1.6GB.

Fear not OP, the game will be there waiting for you in your library once you've upgraded/replaced etc.
Done.

My Windows PC with AMD Athlon II X2 245 2.9Ghz cpu, Geforce GTX 660 and 8Gb memory runs the game fine. Even pretty "smoothly" at most times with low to medium settings. 20-45fps if I remember correctly. :)

This one I'm typing on doesn't run it at all though: Ubuntu PC with AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.1Ghz, GeForce 560 and 6Gb memory. Not sure if it's the specs or just Linux problem though...or both.

Yes you definitely need a dedicated gpu the intel HD igp isn't going to cut it.

I know you're not looking to run max setting ^ but the list gives you an idea of what to expect roughly, R9 270/270x is a good starting point but the GTX960 and R9 280x are good all around mid line cards for 1080p gameplay.
