Punishment for in game failures.

So I have spent around an hour trying to scale the towers of the bridge, upon getting to the top every time I try to use the zipline, My character just jumps off and dies. The fact that you are punished upon death for a bug in the game is beyond stupid. 3/10, there is no reason the controls have to be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

When you are close enough to use the zip line, the screen should tell you to press "space". Or whatever key you have bound to jump. Then the "grabbing the zip line" animation should start.

If you miss the line (no hint about pressing space on the screen) just jumping directly up should land you back where you were.

Are you sure you are not pressing space and forward movement at the same time? That would cause your character to just jump off.

I know what he is on about - the zipline at the top of the bridge when you need to cross over is placed too close to the surface you're standing on, so when you start ziplining you can collide with it and it throws you off the line.

You then fall off the bridge into either rocks (you die) or the sea (and survive) and then have to make your way back to the top to try again. It took me a few attempts.

There's a bug with that specific zipline. Even if you line up the Space indicator properly, your character may still miss and plunge to his death. I think it's a collision issue, you hit off the side of the bridge support during the jump which knocks you off course. I died at least five times there before I managed to use it properly and not go splat.

On the bright side, to my knowledge this only happens in that one specific spot. Once you manage to get down safely you never need to worry about it again.

I get around that by jumping off the bridge from the side and pressing space whilst looking at the zipline. You can grab the zipline anywhere along it and you will grab on as normal.

Just died like 3 times because of this stupid ♥♥♥♥ , cool stuff. Not mentioning the other times where I just fell into the water.

can't say for this company as i haven't played this much but most companies don't seem to fix many bugs after a year to a year and a half later after a games release so kinda thinking bug fixing is pretty done here???
