Losing connection to Steam.

When I lose connection to Stream but still can connect with Shift & Tab like I've done here, does that mean the connection has been reestablished, or do I have to log out of the game and back in?

I've lost too much gameplay due to loss of connection to steam, and it means I have to re-do the quests and things I did while I was disconnected. I'm trying to acoid that, but also to avoid having to log out and back in. That is why I'm asking rhe qyestion above.

I had a lot of this today and yesterday night and so, when I'm playing with my friend it always disconnect which is unplayable... :/

I think I am losing ground because of this as well, in the quests tab in game its says I have done 44 side quests yet the steam achievement says I have 41/44. Also I had kicked 85 zombies off roofs and that set back to zero on me along with the challenges, I had done 6 challenges and it also reset back to zero yet the ones I have done are of course not there anymore.

I wish I knew if I would keep the inventory in my players stash if I start over because that might be the only way to play 3 more side quests

Now you don't mention which game you have these problems with, but I've had it a lot with Black Flag, and I know it's got nothing to do with loosing connection because a message would've made me aware of this. But yeah, it happens on and off no matter where you're at, if you're in-game playing or trying to load Steam.

I guess it's something we just have to live with when we use a system as vast as Steamworks truly is.
