Alright ! Bets on first patch release date ! 3 cards it will be 5 feb.
(My system: i5 4670k, gtx 760 OC, 8 GB Ram)
1.Installed GeForce iCafe 347.26 WHQL + latest DDU that supports icafe 347.26 : direct link driver: http://cn.download.nvidia.com/...
direct link latest DDU: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/D...
Install it..
2.Next i got into Nvidia Control Panel->3d settings->mange 3d settings->program settings go to "Add" and select DyingLightGame.exe and put vertical sync and triple buffering ON - save -(helps to make the game be fluid without no stutter or tearing)
PS: i know that triple buffering its for Open GL but idk how it managed to work very nice in combo with v-sync on Dying Light.
3.For those who still got some stutter/lag in the game alt+tab the game while its still on and do like this:
alt+ctr+delete-> task manager-> Right click on DyingLightGame.exe and select "go to details", now right click it again "DyingLightGame.exe" and go on "set affinity" and uncheck the latest core (in my case on i7 3770k i disabled CPU 7). Important: 2. and 3 step you have to do it while you are in the game to make it work.
4.Enjoy the game and happy gaming
good luck
I`ll check the SlowMow steps tomorow in case it doesn`t help much, so far though its getting stable.
See if this helps you as well.
I have all settings set to Low or OFF and every cutscene I lag like hell. My PC is well above the "recommended" specs.
You're stupid. I've got a 3570K @ 4.5GHz, dual R9 290's, 8GB DDR3-2400 RAM, and running the game off of a 256GB Vertex 4 and this game lags like ♥♥♥♥.
You going to tell me that my PC isn't good? Huh?
So did you try what I said? Since that fixed it for me and my friend.
I tried that. It seems okay for a while, but then the cutscenes lag so bad...it's actually more like the game freezes for 30sec but still has audio. Outside of that, I can get about 60FPS, even on high settings (with lag spikes here and there).
Everytime I initiate a story cutscene, the game freeze frames for about 15-30 seconds but the cutscene still plays through audio.
If it's multiple people having this exact specific problem, then it's definitely some sort of incompatibility or issue on the developers side.
