Yeah its an annoyance if they quit before the cutscene ends, otherwise you would get experience for "winning".
There do seem to be some other issues currently apart from people just quitting once they're invaded, like connections dropping or people entering cutscenes can also prevent it.
you aren't suppose to invade and destroy everything, you are a obstacle bigger than other zombie and you learn xp as you do things to become a better zombie, don't expect to wipe out a party of 4 people
Using quick join or find games?
1. You can invade only games with players, which level is close to your's. You CAN'T get the skills advantage. When you will have normal skills, your enemies will have GUNS.
2. Your enemies playing as team in 95% of invades. You can't do anything against them.
