How to use UV flashlight?

press 1 for toogle equipments! then you need to hold the using key!

I know, i have it equipped. But does it only turn purple when aiming at the correct enemy then?

it turns purple whenever you hold down middlemouse, the default "use" button for equipment
So if you throw a molotov with "q" then you hold q to use uv flashlight (when equipped of course)
