Unfortunately, you are right, I guess devs receive $$$ to include this crap on thier games and intentionally cripple performance for AMD users, even if they don't get $$$ from nGreedia, they still intentionally cripple performance for AMD users when using Gameworks.
I'll gladly wait for this game to be bundled, that's Gameworks products are worth anyway, I'm not on PC to support software/hardware exclusivity, I would be on consoles if I liked that.
Yeah, sure, more like, nGreedia cons the master race

Coffee through nose!
It is indeed a great card.
After all 'tech advances' means that I should even be able to run it on my just recently replaced rig that had a Voodoo card.
Both the PCSS and DoF nVidia features can be done just fine on AMD GPU's. Only PhysX can AMD GPU's not use.
HBAO+ actually gives me a boost ( 60% to 56% )
Nvidia Depth of Field is badly implemented ( very ): both cards go from 56% ( maxed out except for view distance @ 50% ) to 82% with it ON... There is still depth of field in the cutscenes with it off anyway...
BTW, the CPU "trick" consisting of changing the Dyinglight.exe to "high" is working for me and gives me a more stable/fluid framerate.
CPU's can do physx, but it's slow as hell.
Sure, if we completely ignore all the petty ♥♥♥♥ Sony and Microsoft pull. Exclusives alone are worse than this proprietary tech nonsense from Nvidia and AMD.
