So Day/Night is tied to the main quest.
Such a letdown.

The Day/Night cycle is fixed only for the prologue - after that it's a natural cycle.

Does the watch not match the real time then? My watch has been at 8:50 for 30 minutes now.

Also, another relevant question, if i set my game to friends only, will only friends be able to invade my game?

Nope

I got out of the prologue and into the multiplayer part. It was raining randomly at one point, so it seems like there is dynamic weather, but I just completed the second main story mission and it only turned to night after I went to the airdrop quest. No sign of any kind of dynamic day/night cycle yet. Very disappointed.

Is this airdrop quest the one where they first show you the night hunters?
If yes, I think this is actually still part of the prologue missions.

This isnt true. It flat out says youve completed the prologue after the first night.

Also, wish the dev would answer my friends only question. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ keep joining my game.

It seems like that airdrop mission is the last point where day/night cycle is linked to quests. Just got out in the next mission where you need to talk to the Bandit leader and the clock on my character's left hand is progressing at around one minute per second, it turned to night, I got invaded, I had to quit because invasions seem to be unwinnable as human players solo, the works.

I know it's off topic, but any chances for a patch fixing the weird lag issues many people have with the game?

tutorial ends after first night, prologue ends after the airdrop mission
