If yes, I think this is actually still part of the prologue missions.
This isnt true. It flat out says youve completed the prologue after the first night.

It seems like that airdrop mission is the last point where day/night cycle is linked to quests. Just got out in the next mission where you need to talk to the Bandit leader and the clock on my character's left hand is progressing at around one minute per second, it turned to night, I got invaded, I had to quit because invasions seem to be unwinnable as human players solo, the works.
