I understand that the first few story-missions they throw you actually stops the flow of time but after you complete them, the time will flow normally again. Which is why you get the "good night, good luck" warning before night happens.
But I haven't actually bought the game yet so I can't test out how long the ingame day/night cycles are compared to real time?
I really want it to have a dynamic night/day system ...
definitely I want a solid answer before I purchase the game. In free roam is there a dynamic day night cycle or is it quest tied.
Ahh I see so it is actually a working clock & not tied to quests?
Honestly if this is the case, the reviews are quite misleading.
Although I'm not sure if I like this 'time only progresses if you're doing something'
I feel like it would make it less immersive mmmm
Standing for 10 minutes - no effect. Run and kill zombie in 1 minute - 5 minutes passes on clock.
Thank you for doing that haha!
Well it's better than having no time system at least.
