DLM essentially mods games files that control things like CA and Sunshadows (you can see this by looking in your Documents\Dying Light\out folder after you launch your game). So, the game sees this as modded, but it shouldn't matter if your friends do the same.
Are there any plans of fixing this because the fps boost is just too good (like 25 fps+) to not consider and the game looks a bit better without CA
What I think they should do is just give us access to the more demanding features like SunShadows, ShadowMapResolution, etc. and put those options IN the Visual menu, so we can select what we want and don't want to improve performance, or graphical fidelity.
Temporary workaround - Just load DLM on all systems, but don't change any settings on the systems that don't need it. Just 'enable mods' and run it.
Copy the Data3.pk from you PC to your wife's and see if that works?
Make sure you have the exact same files in the Documents folder as well. You want a 1:1 copy for each of you...
