Ammo limt
is there a way to increase it as its way to low for guns to be used as viable play style, dont get me wrong melee weapons are great but the guns in this game suck with low damage and spare ammo.

Also the first gun you get will have a random amount of damage instead of the standared amount useualy found this only aplys to the first gun found for your player for example the first miltary rifle i got had 254 damage but all mil rifles after that stay at the standaed 137

The game is focused on melee. Guns are simply not the focus here and I don't believe the devs intended for them to be used as a playstyle. This isn't really a shooter. I think the guns are better used on humans while melee is the go to method for dealing with zombies since loud noises bring virals in.

yeah but still for a game that took 2or3 years to make guns could have been polished alittle bit i mean dead islands guns where better and that wasnt a gun focused game eather

Military rifles are the baby brother of the Police issue weapons. TBH the balance is just right. Emphasis in this game is on melee weapons which are extremely abundant, and on free running. I've only used guns on Rais's men and only then when I haven't been able to use a well placed molotov (usually only when they have a hostage).

It's not that difficult to kill Z's without any weapon once you get the grapple/drop kick and utilise the over abundance of spikes and drops.

This game doesn't need to become yet another Gunz Vs Zombies clone!

well that solves one problem but really i think i might have to look into making a mod that makes guns just as viable as melee weapon

There was a way to just edit the inventory_gen file before the 1.4.0 patch, now it makes no difference, you'll have to wait till the modding tools.
