You are above the min requirements in every area. The only issues you will have would be to game optimazation, not system specs.

I am considering getting this myself and your rig beats mine. I have an Nvidia GTX 760 which will still run this game with no issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

OS: Windows® 7 64-bit / Windows® 8 64-bit / Windows® 8.1 64-bit
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2500 @3.3 GHz / AMD FX-8320 @3.5 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM DDR3
Hard Drive: 40 GB free space
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560 / AMD Radeon™ HD 6870 (1GB VRAM)
DirectX®: Version 11
Sound: DirectX® compatible
Additional Notes: Laptop versions of graphics cards may work but are NOT officially supported.

Yeah, but my main concern is about the AMD fps issues, I think my graphics card is made by AMD so I dunno if that matters?
Thanks for the reply

The 7950 you have is certainly AMD, and is comparable to the 760 I have. As far as if you will have issues because of that AMD card, I can't tell you.

Likely, you won't know until you pull the trigger and buy the game. You may have no issues where the next guy does. Its louzy that this is the case, and partly why so many people argue for demoes of games prior to purchase.

Me? I only buy Intel. I only buy real computers.

Like cars. I only buy Lincoln.

Yes, I am just being mean. AMD tries really hard :) - But so did Pontiac.

Thanks for the replies, I believe i'll be able to run it, however i've read that if you have a amd processor/driver you get a lot of fps issues.
Zuluknob Feb 13, 2015 @ 7:31am
The fps issues are related to dx11 drawcalls and so the cpu, AMD gpu's are fine.

I don't know if this matters to anyone, but I am running an AMD 9370 w/ a GTX 770 4gb. I am getting great results with Nvidia driver 344.75. It seemed drivers after that caused problems with certain heavy games like Metro LL which crashed on launch until I rolled back to this driver. I then got way above 60 FPS at almost max settings. Dying light has not stuttered or anything, and all settings are set by Geforce Experience. everything is either on or high settings. View Distance is 12/12. I am all so running at 1920x1080 which I'm sure helps. I Just thought I would let people know of a good experience in case they have a similar set up.

Dont let the game fool you... good spec means nothing to this game.

I suppose it will run but can you live with 20fps? :p

Should be able to with the new 1.4.0 update due really soon.. The 1.4.0 beta update has helped AMD CPU performance quite alot so far. Surely they are gonna release them today...Friday 13th and all.....

FX8350 @4.5ghz, R9 280x 3GB - Previously 25-90fps on Medium Textures. With 1.4.0 beta - 35-90fps on High Textures

EDIT: oh I see you have an i7..!! you'll be fine.... But for all the AMDers out there, its some good news finally...
