Germany: is it banned or not?

I ask because I see German people on the forum who's playing the game, can someone tell me what's going on?

I'm not German, but I live in Germany and I'd really like to play Dying Light.

we cant buy the game in any shop, only in the internet in key shops.

I'm German, and I bought a key online and then just registered it on Steam. Make sure to check before if you can actually register it in Germany, supposedly some keys can't be registered here!

Really, and it activates without any problems? That's strange. I also heard some people got their keys banned. Don't know if to risk and purchase...

I googled for a bit, and it seems that ONLY keys from Austria can be activated in Germany, so you should look for one from there.

You can still play and buy it, just not in germany(buying in germany) ;) and the only keys which you shouldnt buy are the RU+CIS(VPN activation+Run Lock) and the NA/North America ones, they have the purchase not allowed tag for germany. So could be that you need a VPN to activate it, the others seem fine(Rest of World/China). Or just order the retail from austria/switzerland/uk or so.

just dont buy Keys from untrusted unofficial reseller websites like MMOGA or G--2--A these are not allowed :)

If you buy from a Austria Gameshop you get a 100% valid and accepted Key.
I got mine while i was on Vacation in france so i buyed the Game there before i was preparing to travel back to Germany :)

I could activate the Game with this key without Problems.

Only dont use VPN its a crime and ban reason

If you buy a Russian key for low money you do a crime too
