How to open stuck doors?

I don't know if they're locked or just stuck, but how do you open them? I have lots of lockpicks but it doesn't give me the option to unlock them, so I assume they're just stuck. I have a mission to get a stupid movie for a tardo but I can't get inside the video store because all the windows are barred or boarded up and the doors won't open. What am I supposed to do about doors like this? I tried kicking them down but the game doesn't even recognize that I tried that. I tried hitting them with weapons but seems like all that's doing is wearing down my weapons for no good reason.

they only open from the inside..there will be another entrance always

There is always another way to get in. The red doors are locked from inside. White locked doors that you can't lockpick are usually blocked from inside with some stuff.

I don't remember how I got in this store. Try looking for entrances on rooftop or those sliding garage doors (when you find sliding doors already semi-open, like 1 ft open, you can fully open it).

for gazi the video store you have to use the frontdoor, i think you picklock it and then alarm rings that you have to turn off, for the coffee shop to get the chocolate i think the front had one of those metal thingys that is little open that you can slide upwards. Theres also alot of locked doors that are quest related and cant be opened earlier

Yeah weird thing was first time I went over the door wasn't even there. It was just wall where the door was. There was also two brown doors on the top level that I couldn't open. After starting the game back up to try again, I ran back to the video store (annoyed the game didn't just leave me there) and the front door was there and I was able to get in easily. I also saw that one of the upstairs doors was broken open and zombies were coming out, maybe broken open when the zombies got all excited about the alarm. The other door, the one that leads to a balcony with no stairs, remained stuck and unable to be opened either from inside or outside.

Most doors (Atleast as far as I am aware of) which are locked can be opened through side-quests and the sort. From some quests you'll get keys to get to other buildings, which are mostly stashes. As far as I have been through, I've been able to open pretty much every single door which was locked previously. And as said above, you'll have to find other ways for some doors aswell, which could be through the roof, a window, etc.

Go through the entire game doing all quests and you probably will be able to enter any building you want.

I know what the OP is talking about, you got to get a movie and chocolates. There is a door you can pick at the front of the store. You are either looking in the wrong place or not hard enough.

Ya the garage doors. LOL! If you look too quickly you will miss the "USE" function on it. OMG, almost kicked myself I was getting frustrated and gone through about 4 weapons before I figured out what to do.

So I will get keys later on in this game to open locked doors? White or Red doors will not open. New to the game. At a building right now and searched all sides plus top and bottom without success.
