Binoculars?

I've had the quest active for hours, and I can't find a pair. Where the hell are they!?

You need to track the quest in the quest screen, just to make sure it spawns.

I got mine on top of a Safehouse.
It was lying there on top a wooden crate, on top of one the big safehouses that are on the western side of the map (on the roof of a big building, like 10 meters away from the player's bed and stash).

Yeah, one's on Kristov's radio tower safe zone by the gas station that some guy had fortified and shot at you earlier in the game, another is on the roof of Hansen's Group's building (the one already mentioned where everyone committed suicide), and another is on the roof of another apartment building safezone nearby. These are the only three locations that I've seen and can remember. And as already said, you have to have the quest tracked.
Anyways, hope this helps if you haven't already found them.

Oh well, maybe I can help someone with the same problem. :/

Went there...I can't interact with the binoculars at all,since that place have become already an safe area.
My mistake went to another radio tower,I've watched an video being more specific about the location.

I found the binoculars while the quest was being tracked. Can't interact with them.

Closest radio tower next to the Tower should have a guaranteed binocular drop. They're on a box and very hard to miss. Otherwise, look at high ground where outposts are, such as roofs. Not all binoculars are lootable as you may notice.

The place most people seem to first find them is on the lower level of the antenna where the guy is working for Rais, and his son is a runner in the tower.

I found my pair of binoculars on roof-top of apartment building close to the school while I was busy with another quest, ( collecting aerosol paint cans.)

Also,another place there can be found binoculars is the top of the supermarket known as Stuffed Turtle quarantine zone.Few days ago I was passing by and there it was,but the popular place is that radio tower next to Stuffed Turtle quarantine zone.
