Game crashes on menu

I've just tried to play Dying Light. Videos are working. After I pushed a button, I see the "automatically safe"-notice and the game crashes with the "not working anymore"-error message...

I've found a solution:

If you delete the files dying light/dw/data/common_cod_1_pc.rpacz and dying light/dw/data/common_cod_2_pc.rpacz, the game will start without problems.

It seems, the last patch broke the game. Developers should fix that.

Hi,i went to my data folder and found two files of "common" 1-PC and two files of "common"-2-PC do i delete all 4 or just the duplicates? please answer!

I think only the two ones. But I'm not sure anymore.. was a few month ago ;)
I would say, make some backups of the files and try. :)
