100 zombie statues..what for?

is there any reason why there are 100 zombie statues to collect? i dont see any achievement for it, it doesnt give any points ingame for agility, power or something..also cant sell it

I think its just for completionists as I think it counts towards the overall 100% if you get all of them, ive done everything in the game so far and ive collected all 30 flags but still have 60 gold statues to collect and I've got 100% story completion and 98% overal complete.

Nah i love looking around i still need to look in every bag and every corner or i have the feeling i missed something amazing so im gonna find them myself ^_^

I don't know why, but every time I find one I go "Yay!" I mean I don't even care whether I get the achievement or not. Maybe it would be more worthwhile if you could at least see a gallery of them and zoom in and rotate them and make them do their zombie sound, like the bottle caps in RE4. Instead it's a pointless scavenger hunt , save for calling it an achievement. Ooh, I feel so productive.

statues and flags, or the notes doesn't count in the game completion. I still didn't collect some of them and my game completion is 100% (it was really hard to do that) :)
by the way to make it 100%, take a look at undone quarantine zones and Dahlia's secret missions
