Sooo, PC version or console version?
Basically I'm on the fence whether I should buy Dying light for PC or console :)
I've heard that the game is unoptimized and has a bunch a problems for pc.
So should I just go ahead and buy the PS4 version, even though it's more expensive?
Or should I get the pc version for 35$?
Here's my specs to put everything into perspective:
i5-4570 3.2
GTX 770 2GB
Windows 8.1
8GB RAM
I'll be playing at 1080p on a single monitor by the way :)
Thanks in advance :D

dying light was poorly optimised during initial release but after a patch or two its running pretty well now on PC. but then again i do have x3 980s and the game doesnt drop below 60fps for me on max @ 2560 x 1080.

In your case - PC version is better. Patch 1.4 fixed a lot of annoying bugs. I'm playing on medium settings with average 52-60 FPS. Not pefrect, but still better then console 30 FPS.

Holy cow, my problem is that I don't know which will be best for me with my specs?
Is it more worthwhile on PS4, where it just works?
Or would it be much better on PC for me?
That's the question :)

Yeah, you're right, I just wasn't sure it would run fine on my pc :)

Yeah, it's just so much more expensive on console :)
And FarCry might be right, I think my PC can handle it just fine, or at least better than consoles :D

If you can run it maxed out, I should be able to run it on at least medium-high settings :)
You just convinced me, oh, and you are so right about the mods :)
By the way, i threw you a friend request, since you seemed cool :)
Cheers :D

hmm.. I was just wondering the same thing. I have a PS4. My PC is an i5 3570 with AMD graphics 7870 in crossfire. After patch 1.4 is it working well for AMD and does anyone know how the crossfire performance would be? (sorry if hijacking thread)

False.

XB1 and PS4 are locked to 30fps. They also have few visual effects (obviously) and you can't get rid of things like Chromatic Aberation, DOF, etc. like you can on the PC.
