Dying Light on PC supports PS4 controllers.

Plug it in through USB and it works perfectly, the context sensitive buttons even show X, square, circle and triangle.
Thought I'd point that out, seeing as how some people are still using old 360 controllers with wonky d-pads like I am.

I use xbone controller dont even own xbone just got it for hell of it for some games I like to play with controller instead, Kinda neat you dont need to dl 3rd party program tho for PS4 controller like PS3 pads in the past.

Steam has a configuration for PS4 controllers now in Big Picture Mode pretty much every controller game now works with PS4 controller :D

Unfortunately I have the same issue. The same is true for Arkham Knight. Do you have the Dualshock 4 v2? I believe it to be the problem. It seems both games support the classic Dualshock 4, not the newer version.

if you have a ps4 pro controller it will not work. Only the V1 ps4 controller will work as of the time im writing this in 2019

FiX IS SIMPLE :

1. UNZIP (IN WINRAR) DATA0.PACK FROM THIS MOD (DO THE SAME IN ORIGINAL DYING LIGHT DATA0.PAK)

2. GO TO (AFTER UNRAR DATA0 FOLDER OF THIS MOD) DATA / PANEL /

3. COPY ALL 10 ICON FILES (XAMPLE : 360 ICONS PS4 ICONS ETC) FROM THIS MOD INTO YOUR ORIGINAL DATA0 / DATA / PANEL

just archive right click your new data0 into zip format to pack files again
