To consider he's probably a highly-trained individual needing great stamina to be sent on a mission like this, that doesn't seem so unrealistic to me. Even normal people like you and me on average can hold their breath for longer than a minute
I find it much more realistic than those games where you can only sprint for 10 seconds or hold your breath while aiming for 5 seconds
