Any fix for long load times yet?
Kind of takes the fun out of the game when you have to wait 40 sec to 1 min on every single loading screen. I had this exact same problem in Dead Island and Riptide, but all we had to do was disable permissions on the crash log folder and load times went down to 5 - 10 sec. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work for this game.

No I'm not below the minimum. I don't think it's a hardware problem because other people in these forums have well over the recommended and are also still getting up to 1 min load times. And like I said we've had this issue before in their other games, but it turned out to be the crash log folder causing the issue.

Well thats weird, tried to run game from SSD?

I don't think this is a problem with the game considering my loadingscreens rarely makes up to 5 seconds waiting time.

Ya I found that if my computer was less then 8 years old it would load quicker

My loadingscreens usually last around 5 seconds, so I highly doubt it's the game. I'm also running from SSD.

uhhh 5 seconds omg...

post your pc specs btw
game runs with 15 secs load time on a 660 and 30secs on a 590 so its not the game

usual people bringing their "buy a SSD" when they didnt even search other forums. It has been stated you can have a HDD or SSD it makes almost no differences for this game. A few friends have regular HDD and they load in less than 5 sec.

also some of us had normal loading times before the last patch and now it's super long.

Hello everyone,

We’re working on solving issues some of you are experiencing with Dying Light.
You can help us fix them faster! Just create a Dxdiag file and send it together with your Logs and Dumps files
to piotr.leusz@techland.pl.

How to do it:

1. Create a Dxdiag file. Read how here: http://en.support.techland.pl/support/solutions/articles/4000042573-creating-dxdiag-file
2. Copy all your Logs files. You can find them on your computer in: My Documents\dyinglight\out\logs\
3. Copy all your Dumps files. You can find them on your computer in: steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light\dumps\
4. Attach all these files and SEND WITH YOUR STEAM PROFILE NAME AND TOPIC'S URL. !!!
5. Send it to: piotr.leusz@techland.pl

This will help us immensely in fixing the issues you may have.

I run the game maxed out and had no problems upto the patch before the following, after that patch the game too about 1-5 mins to load PER loading screen on a SSD (also tried on my HDD same effect)

HOWEVER I FIXED MINE

I ran the game with FULL SCREEN set to OFF

after changing that to ON and restarting the game it loaded in 5 - 10 seconds

Hope this helps both TECHLAND and you guys suffering from the odd problem.

I fixed mine by getting my buddy's backup of dying light and completely deleting dying light in my steam library and in steam folder in my programs file and then restoring it with the backup. It now runs smooth no issues
