FATAL ERROR: Cannot Initialize Renderer.
Hi there. Just bought this game and alewady expiriecing technical problems.
I get the "FATAL ERROR: Cannot Initialize Renderer" message every time I am starting a game. I see a splash-screen, and then, well, error message.

So, what I tried to fix this:
1. Installed all the drivers, redistributable packages manually.
2. Tried the solution posted there: http://steamcommunity.com/app/239140/discussions/0/604941528483950342/
3. Deleted all the local content and re-downloaded the game.

So the question is, is there any chance of knowing why this happen, any chance of you fixing it?

My PC is:

GeForce GTX 760
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 64-bit
4.0 GB RAM

So, any help?

It would appear as there is still no fix for this. I have had a ticket open with Techland for over a week with no response. This seems to be a big problem that a lot of people are having with no fix and no time frame of when it might be fixed. Shelf the game and come back in a few months when they've gotten their ♥♥♥♥ together.

I have the same problem, gf 780ti, 4770k, 32gb ram 8.1x64 all good quality asus hardware, corsair ram.

Ive tried everything, windows is all up to date, all drivers etc, all solotuions I could find online including the ones you posted, clean boot with all services and start up items disabled. If I have time on the weekend I might do a reformat for curiosities sake.

I have a feeling its either hardware or software conflict somewhere. I know when I bought bitdefender security suite my computer would reboot when I tried a virus scan, ended up being conflict between the AI suite provided by ASUS motherboard not liking the virus scanner. They knew about it and refunded me straight away. Atleast if techland could tell us what could be causing it that would be great instead of the generic update your drivers.

Check your Dying Light game folder for anything called SWEET FX delete any related files from your game folder.I downloaded that plugin from Dying Light Nexus and forgot it was installed .Once it was removed from the game folder mine worked fine.
