Lost some of my best gear after mission! :(

Hi! I just lost some of my legendary (golden/orange) gear at the mission "The Museum" right after you kill Tahir I got to the storage bag at the exit, it asked me if I wanted to get my gear back to the way it was. I choose yes and it just gives me back random gear!

I had a golden Army Rifle, golden 9mm Pistol, a Shotgun, about 5 or 6 Korek Machetes, and a bunch of Stasis field projectors along with some angel swords!

All gone and replaced with a bunch of sh*** iron crowbars and handyman's Hatchets...

This Sucks! please fix this! :(

First serious and annoying bug i got! Damn....

I'm really mad at this! Specialy because it told me before I got to the museum, to bring my best gear and find good weapons. I thought I was going to a big boss battle so I really geared up. It turns out, your gear is taken for you for the boss battle, so now all my best gear is gone for nothing! :(

They still haven't fixed this, so all you can do is hit NO and manually transfer all your items from your stash back into your inventory. Same ♥♥♥♥ has happened to me.

Well man, this just happend to me to - and at the same mission and just a few hours ago. I had some nice gear and it was all lost and replaced by some ♥♥♥♥ weapons. Also lost alot of other stuff that I collected. Really annoying. Been playing for 55 hours without any problems and now this. I dont think its possible to fix. Really sucks. :(

I'll try to do it manually next time, but man this sucks... specially this far ahead in the game, where good gear helps alot.
I've been saving the gear for bosses and stuff, and then this happens. Hope they fix this in the next patch...

I think you have to completely empty your inventory and equipment before you select the "Restore inventory to previous state" option at the stash. I did some testing and found that if any item remains in your inventory or bag after either the 1st or 2nd time Rais takes your items and before you go to the stash, then when you restore inventory at the stash, some items may disappear, but if you empty your inventory and equipment then Restore Inventory to Previous State, you won't lose any items.

I did the auto recover thing the first time and I didnt notice any difference, so I thought I was good this time. The thing that sucks the most is all the scavegin I did for those things is now lost time... Its not game breaking, but its very frustrating... I hope I can get the golden rifle and pistol back, those are the ones who I'm most pissed off about...

When you lost the items during "Restore inventory to previous state", did you have any weapon in your inventory/equipped before you click that option? Because if there are any items equipped or in inventory, then what happens is that the game detects a conflict in limited inventory space (if there are more stash items transferred than available inventory space) and deletes some of your items from your stash before transferring the remaining items from stash to inventory to fill out your bag space. This only applies to the inventory that takes up bag space (weapons and equipment like bombs/firecrackers/flashlight, etc)

Yes, thats exactly what happened. Before things were taken from me, I had my inventory full or almost, and now I had Tahir's blade, and some other that I picked up to fight him.
And yes, it only replaced my inventory stuff.

Funny thing is, I had Tahir's blade equiped, and it switched it to the storage, wich is what it should do, it should store whatever you have in your inventory, and then give back your stuff, instead of deleting it. :S

I got them from some boxes after doing a side quest, so I think I wont get any of those back. :/

In traders or in chests. Basically anywhere. I have seen golden shotguns, rifles, pistols sold at trader shops. But they are same stats as green/blue guns, only price different. This is another bug, a gun damage glitch that is very common. You can read more about it and some testing to detect the glitch in another thread on this forum.

I guess the OP can get those back again then. Stasis field projector blueprint is also on his route. Stinks :( but atleast you'll be able to get your stuff back again.

There are many glitches in this game. This one is really easy to figure out but I wonder why the devs have not fixed it yet.

Yeah... but the stasis projector and the korek cost alot to make, gotta scavenge alot, specialy since I had like 5 or 6 korek's (50 or 60 alcohol and about 120 metal parts) and I had like 15 stasis (60 fluo shrooms)

But its not the end of the world... but they should fix this soon. hopefully some people read this thread and dont make the same mistake ;)

Hey guys, little late to the party but I just had this happen to me and after googling the issue this page came up.

In case this solution hasn't been found, to get your old items back you just go to your player stash in any HQ and all your old items can be found in there safe and sound (including perks and scavenged materials).

I was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ relieved after finding this!!
