Total Security quest bugged? (shut off 3 generators)

I shut the 3 generators off. Picked up the radio from off the chair upon the roof.
Question is still active, nothing is marked on my map and there is clearly something yet to be done. Can someone help me?

What is the current objective in the quest displaying?

The quest should end after you've listened to the recording that you find on the chair and reported back to Jaffar over the radio. If it hasn't then yes, it's bugged. I have no idea how to fix it.

yeah, current objetive just stays as ``shut off the generators`` wich i have already done, and even after picking up the recorder. (it doesn't play/say anthing when i pick it up, is it normal?).
Also, the radio on the other roof only gives me the option to turn it off, then on again, and off and on etc. Seems definitely bugged. Damn Techland!

Crane should listen to the recorder automatically (located on the roof, on a chair right next to the door over by the people who have committed suicide). Right after the recording ends he should call Jaffar and tell him what happened. I had some issues finding the recorder at first but after I did there we no problems.

The radio has nothing to do with the mission.

Also, if you choose "Play Campaign" in the main menu you'll see a list of saved games. Mark the save you're currently playing on, press "F" for Advanced Options then see if you can restart the quest from there.

Turn off 3 generators

Check the dead guy being munched by zombies outside one of the generators

Pick up recording from the chair on the roof and listen to it.

That should be quest completed, return to Jaffar for reward.

After restarting the quest 5 times, and doing things in this EXACT order, the quest was finally able to be turned in.

No problem, I spent about hour on that mission investigating the building roof, I didn't know it was a recording that had to be found.

Dude ... this resets any quests that I was currently on. I lost all the progress of all my quests. Thanks for not putting in that little piece of info.

Well I did not even have a recording to pick up on that mission :(
