Just did the Searchlights mission. :O
That side-quest was amazing. Everything just comes together to create such an intense atmosphere. I love stuff like that. Thank goodness I unlocked the grappling hook before doing this one. XD

Well u pretty much have to, doing it woithout the hook is pretty much suicide due to sometimes EXTREMLY bad ledge detection. I mean u can aim directly at a ledge and the dude just wont latch on.

But yes, that mission had me and my coop buddy alittle tightened up while up there.

Is it bad when bulbs are scarier than zombies in a game.....? Because in Dying Light, they are.

omg, the bulbs at first. I didn't know the secret to finding the right ones. So I'm balancing on beams of concrete wobbling back and forth and the searchlight starts sparking and hurting me as I try to remove teh bulb. So freaking intense! And below me was virals screaming.

Just look around a bit in the future :)

By this I mean look for pipes or cables, ledges and such. The antena mission earlier on gives you a really good idea what you can hold on to in the world when your trying to reach high places. I havent gotten far in the game but, even when I got my hook there was never any real need for it except for its convinience. Which i think is the only real reason is even in the game. Bascially another layer of ease in an already easy game.

Yeah I didn't use it either. Was awfully tense though.

I really think grapple hook kind of breaks the game and makes things like that way too easy...
i didnt unlock my grapple hook til around survival 16-18 or so and did the mission without it lol

You guys are all a lot better at climbing than me. is cool. I am glad the grapple is an option.

P.S. I got my first flag from climbing all the way up a tower, so I am getting a wee bit better at climbing, but it's so nerve wracking. My palms are super sweaty.

Being the lazy person I am, I thought, "Why not try walking up the support cables?" Lo and behold, I was up on top in no time! Problem is, I'm freaked out about heights and this game does a REALLY good (read: gut-wrenching) job of making this level VERY acrophobic. *shaking fist at devs*

Do the UV Lights still come on at infamy bridge at night after this mission? i like using infamy bridge as a good agility and power spot but i always to it at night so i want to keep volatiles away
