How do you save in this game? (FIXED)
Tried playing through the prologue just so I don't have to keep going through it everytime I play the game when I'm testing to see if I can fix the frame rate. But I have no idea where to save. Now I have to start all over again. I bought this issue up before but my discussion was removed.

it's autosave only. however, i did notice that everytime you take the elevator up and down it will save. You'll see an animated "box" and with an "x" in the middle when it saves.

Oh brilliant. Just as I suspected. My save is really broke then. You have no idea how many times I have tried to play through this game my friend. The autosave doesn't work for me. And now you have just confirmed it.

It usually saves whenever you sleep as well. Perhaps you just need to play a little further, and finish the prologue questline?

No I already slept. Someone else suggested that in the discussion before this. I am bringing this issue up because I can't find anyone else with this problem. I am literally the only one with it.

Sleep, Complete a Challenge/Mission, Die, Instance into some place (Interior building or Elevators)

Tried all of those except dying. I have done story missions but not challenges.

Tried everything. Nothing works. When I quit to the main menu though the continue option is on there and when I leave the game and go back on its gone! You have no idea how long I have been trying to get this game to work propely. Just one problem after another.

It could be a problem with write access.
One thing you need to be is online with steam for save games to be there, even though this game appears not to use the cloud & I have that turned off in steams main options anyway. The other thing is even then the continue option is often missing. You have to go into start campaign & you should see your save game underneath in a box underneath the box to start a new game. I had the same issue as you & being online & going where I said will work.

What is this write access?

I don't see the box in the start campaign option but what was you talking about before that. Do I have to change something in the cloud settings?
I don't think it matters but under the drop down steam/settings/cloud (top left of steam) I have cloud sync off.
To check if you have a save game file go to steam folder where steam & it's games are installed on your hard drive. Go into userdata/(a bunch of numbers file)/239140/remote/out/save. You should see a file dated the last time you saved your game called save_coop_0.sav
If you have this file you should be able to access it like I said.

As someone else said it sounds like a write access issue. Run Steam/The game with admin privilege and see if it saves then.

Oh yeah, I don't have the 239140 folder. I was already aware of that before but I just thought that when the game was saved properly the file would be created.
