Annoying Mouse Lag
Even when I turn off v-sync and put all settings down to low, therer is still mouse lag. Mouse smoothing is also off in the options.

The weird thing is sometimes it goes away. If I restart my game enough and fiddle with the settings all of a sudden im 60fps all the time no mouse lag. This is when everytihng is on high except the shadows and draw distance. I notice that when it happens the game just runs like ♥♥♥♥ in general. I get obscene amount of screen tearing, bad fps and mouse lag.

Is anyone else having this issue? If there's one thing I can't stand when I'm playing is my mouse dragging behind my hand.

Specs

Asus gtx 780 3gb
i5 4690k@ 4.5ghz
8gb ram
asus z97 mobo
windows 7

I'm not having this issue, but I saw one post in another thread where someone said if they alt-tab out and then back into the game it smoothed it out for them, I cant see how that would make a difference, but if you've run out of other things to try....

Before you do anything, absolutely make sure you have updated drivers.
I noticed this mouse lag right away, it is very annoying. It seems to get better with lower resolutions... It is still not as smooth as it should be but a bit better. I am trying more options now and ill post if I have any more success..

ok it does seem that the mouse lag is directly affected by the games resolution. Turning mine down to the next lowest setting really resolved my mouse lag issue.

also windows 8 and 8.1 have a standalone fix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2908279#gamelist

I don't know if this works or not I am not using win8

Hey guys, not sure if anyone checks in here anymore, but ... I found a fix, after 3 months of trying. Turn the mouse sensitivity all the way down in the game, and boost the DPI sensitivity of your mouse in it's associated software. Worked immediately for me when everything else failed. Test to see if it is the mouse issue : use a controller, if it's silky smooth, it's the same issue.

oh my, i used nvidia adaptative v-sync for locking 60fps in all games for a few years now, i don't even wanna think how much it messed my gaming experience so far... Anyway thanks for that advice, it helped me a lot!

Got it working without a hitch - Do the following:

Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames = 1
VSync = FAST

The more pre-rendered frames in effect, the stronger your input lag as the game engine is just stockpiling them. Setting them to 1 ensures that the lag is minimised.

I don't recommend turning off VSync if you're hitting above your monitor's refresh rate, but rather using Fast VSync - It's designed to reduce input lag by functioning as if VSync itself is off, and drops the unused frames rather than waiting for the monitor (Which causes the input lag).
