Co-op Crash Fix.
Ive been crashing every 5-10 minutes on coop for the past 4 days until i read something about it being a authentication issue with wifi and unstable internet. So i decided to try a VPN, CyberGhost http://www.cyberghostvpn.com/en_us to be specific and it worked 100%. I didnt change any settings or anything. Started using the VPN and it worked. Try it if you are crashing due to the "memory leak". It has to do with an authentication when playing coop but with the VPN it worked flawlessly. If you dont want to try VPN, if you are using wifi, try using a wired connection. Most people ive come across were using wifi when it crashed.

Are there resources for this? I have the same problem
Hmm. I've played co-op with a friend of mine for close to 27 hours so far. Not a single crash.

what do you mean resources? just try it with the vpn. it worked for me maybe it will work for others. I was just fed up with not being able to play with friends for the whole week i needed to find some kind of quick fix.
I tried it with hamachi. Cant find my friends in Multiplayer there too. Both changed to Lan. This is so horrible.

I'm using a wired connection, yet I too am encountering this awful memory leak crash during co-op. I've even talked to Techland's support website. This is how the conversation went:

Here's what I said:

"Whilst playing co op, at any time the game decides to crash/freeze. I have to ctrl+alt+delete to the desktop where it says "Dying Light has stopped working"

The crashing is completely random and I don't know why I can't play for more than 15-30 minutes, sometimes longer. One time I was able to play for like 4 hours, but that was a couple of days ago.

Please help!!"

I also included some files regarding my PC specs and some crash logs.

To which they responded:

"Dear Kyle,

Thank you for your query and all the files you have provided us with. We are currently working on a solution.

Best Regards
Marcin"

Youre welcome. Its definitely a programming issue with the way security tokens and autheticators are working. If it fails it keeps trying and trying using a bunch of resources until it crashes coupled with you moving around and free running in the game causing packets to send and fail and send and fail over and over. It might take a while for techland to fix.
