Binoculars quest bug?

So I had just finished collecting Dulse for the lady in the fishing village, and was returning when I noticed a dude with a "protect quest" marker. I figured I'd help him on my way back. He led me to the place just in front of the northern dock, and made me fight a couple firefighter goons. It was at this point that I noticed that this area was marked with "Find Binoculars." I killed the goons, but when the battle was over the "Find Binoculars" marker was gone. The quest still says I need to find the **** binoculars, but now there's no quest marker. Is this normal, or is it bugged?

i never actually got a marker for where they are, as i read it, they can be in multiple places, i simply found them on the top of a building somewhere, its more of a quest you complete when you happen to find the item, im still yet to come across any lavender for another quest.

I found the binoculars while doing another quest, don't remember which. It was just there at the end, while doing your quests pay attention.

man the lavanders are marked on the map they are norther than the small harbor safehouse where is very rocky :3

See that antenna near the place where you got the quest? A little bit to the west? As you climb it and walk around the walkways, you should find the binoculars.

I just found some at the end of the quest where you're sent to find what became of the survivor colony being led by a guy named Hansen. Turns out they've been living on a roof, which is of course, a high place. I won't get into spoilers, but there are some binoculars on the roof with them next to where their radio is broadcasting their distress signal.

The quest also says to check out radio towers. That's probably the best way to "brute force" the quest. Either that, or you just wait to find them while checking out rooftops during other assignments or quests, over time.

I remember checking the tower where the man and his son lived, but the binoculars there didn't have any interection. The ones I found in the tower nearest to that village worked for me.

Also, that Hansen quest... Made my heart tighten for a second when I understood what happened.

i found my pair on one of the roofs with a safe zone. Scaffolding around the side, on a box on top. Two rooms that are usually locked, sometimes one opens and a vendor is there.

just to affirm... I found the pair where the old man and son were living and I also had no option for interaction with those.... still looking for a pair I can pick up

You just have to track the quest, and you'll find it in any antenna or rooftop

I'm going through what some of you are.. Finding binoculars I cannot pick up.

"Incense Herbs" (Lavender) I was able to find. The Dulse, however, I did find and now it wants me to find more. Repeatable Quest? IDK. Getting tired.
