Psycho 2 - Push Zombies into spikes

anyone wanna shed some knowledge on how this should be done? Whenever I try to do this challenge, I end up fruitlessly trying to push zombies around and I eventuallly get swarmed and mauled...Any tricks to doing this challenge?

You need the grapple ability then stand near the spikes and just press alt+direction to throw them into the spikes.

i stand on top of barracads with spikes on and they walk into them or throw firecrackers on spikes and they walk on them

Yeah I get the grapple part but im not getting the coordination down or something cuz im never able to throw them into the spikes

Tried the firecrackers method..it works but doesn't count as kill for the challenge

I played for about 50 hours of this game everything is perfect and reasonable apart from this extremely unbalanced challenge. I tried every little thing, firecrackers EVERYTHING but I get attacked by at least 5 zombies at the same time which kill you or do massive damage, I think I used over 30 medkits for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission and restarted for over 20 times. God this mission sucks.

Throw firecrackers in front of the spikes, then shove or kick them into the spikes. Same goes for the psycho axe challenge (cut 30 zombies in half) use firecrackers, then chop them in half.

Grapple ability works awful. It's just unpredictable when zombie will be in focuse and when it wouldn't.

Tackle isn't bad if you can get them close to the spikes.

just skip that challenge they didn't code the AI right for interacting with the spikes they have to follow a path to get stuck on them you'll notice they all follow a line to a single point in a barrel etc instead of just walking righ tinto it from any direction and this also affects the physics of kicks etc it basically comes down to chance whether or not they're gonna hit the spikes no matter what you yourself do and where you do it

Anyways. You really don't need firecrackers for this one, there is plenty zombies, i find the easiest method is to just spam the button for grapple while having your back against the spikes (so that you can easily throw them back against it) Uusally you will avoid 90% dmg this way and may use 2-3 meds.

I don't know for this challenge i really didn't have much of a tough time at all.
Sure I didnt always win but i would get lots of kills and almost complete it
I kept at it, and finally was able to complete it

"challenge" should be the keyword for these things.

I wish i could redo the mission so i could show it ; ~: maybe in the near future? .

Sounds like you're not avoiding 90% of damage if you have to use a medkit. If you stand behind the spikes and spam the grapple move, you will get hit in the back by the 8 other zombies surrounding you, guaranteed.

As for the firecracker method, as soon as I hit one zomibe, they all turn around and attack.

Ugh, I can't seem to get this either. You either get mauled to death by the horde, or you get grabbed repeatedly because the timing for when to actually hit the grapple button is so erratic and unnatural.

Even just spamming the button like others say to do doesn't seem to work for me.
