For example, I have BF4 on xbox one (as well as PC where I play) and I am pretty sure the resolution on the xbone is less then 720p. 720p in 2015? Are you kidding me? I haven't used below 1080p on PC since 2005.
This will best the current consoles in all games. And give you a great PC, HTPC. etc. The conosoles are just so bad this go around. I regret getting my Xbone, as it is having several issues that are unfixable ( NOISE,static through stereo adapte, USB disconnect).

BF4 is 900p on Xbox One. Consoles may not match PC graphically but there are some pretty substantial advantages. Less headaches over technical issues and controller response is mostly spot on.
The optimization of the games puts the game in service of the controller instead of the other way around meaning a lot of games scale dynamically in order to keep controller response optimal resulting in a much smoother experience tha on PC. For instance in this game, Dying light. My PC runs it at 55-60 fps and my Xbox One runs it at a locked 30. Regardless of the lower framerate, controller response is actually better on Xbox One giving the game a smoother feel.
@DaLagga thank you for this link.
I agree with you yo should put the draw distance slider to the minimum.
pc gamer that own an xbone. Worst platform out there.
Console games do not feel smoother to me. I have a Gsync monitor and it is almost unplayable to play Xbone BF4 as the framerate, and overall IQ is just awful. The MP of BF4 is 720p I believe and SP 900p.
Either way it is a bad experience once you have played the PC version. If you didn't know anybetter I guess it would be ''ok''.
Did you even read the article for that video you posted?
"Between the two console versions we definitely have to give the nod to the PS4 version with its improved frame-rate and better texture streaming, its higher resolution, and a near complete lack of screen-tear. However, anyone with a decent gaming PC should definitely stick to the computer version as it offers excellent scalability alongside further improved visuals."
The PC they are using has a i3 and a 750ti and it beats the PS4 in everyway. Reading comprehension fail?
" Core i3 PC with a GTX 750 Ti managed a console-like 30fps at 1080p."
The user is stupid for somehow thinking that an ultra detail setting is the default. It's been said that PC devs would get less hate from inexperienced gamers if they started obfuscating high detail settings within complicated .ini files. Read more about the misconception of "optimization" here.
I have also been gaming on consoles since Atari. I feel that it's not necessarily that the current gen of consoles are weak, more that modern PC gaming hardware is so strong. Let's also not forget that as time goes on, devs will be able to extract more and more graphical fidelity from console hardware. All new consoles have a learning curve for developers, as they gain more experience creating games for them, the level of detail will go up.
Recall how games looked for PS1 and PS2 on launch compared to how they looked towards the end of their lifecycles. Huge difference.
nope i didn't read the whole article.
Don't understand where you think you've pulled that fact from but I have a GTX 780 and it's pushing this game to 60FPS while the PS4 is capped to 30. The graphics are also DEFINITELY not better than PC, as I've seen both in action, so that comment is beyond inaccurate...
Lol, kitty? Do your research before you post things that are meant to be believed as facts and it will lessen the amount of ignorance on the Steam forums...
not likely, on the PS4 front, a 750Ti loses out to both the 7850 and 7870 and the PS4 GPU is better than a 7850 and not quiet a 7870.
