Finale *spoilers if you aren't here* I need help

I am at the finale where you are on the second crane running back towards Rais tower and I can't make it accross the crane before it breaks apart and falls. I have been running it over and over for like 10 hours now and there is literally no way for me to make it. What am I doing wrong?

Run to the end and jump at the big rectangle things. If your problem is you can't even get to the end, then that's a bug.

Yea I couldn't get to the end before it broke but i got passed it. I joined a friends gamed farmed mats for a speed potion and sped accross that thing like there was no tomorrow.

I tried this and I still can't get across.
I even managed to climb the crane and walk down the support cables skipping rais' dialogue and the cranes collapse but when I made my way around the building and up to the ladder I couldn't activate the ladder to climb it. I couldn't jump to it I couldn't wall run to it either. I don't know how I'm supposed to continue and I'm moments away from the conclusion.

you need to sprint, I just did it this afternoon with plenty of time to spare, don't ♥♥♥♥ around trying to make sure you centered, get on the arm and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ run, don't wait for explosions, don't wait for the crane to move, just haul ass.

Run like an ethiopian spotting a thanksgiving dinner.

This isn't even the hardest jump, the entire building after the crane is a mess.

No I don't, there is no way you can't simply make it across, climbing Troys tower is harder than that crane segment.

Unless you are leaving out information? Do you have bad screen stuttering? large fps fluctuations? poorly functioning mouse and keyboard?

The crane collapses a second or two after the second missile hits the arm of the crane. I'm usually right next to the missile when it hits. This gives me a slight lul in speed and then I begin to pick up again only to have what's left of the arm drop off taking me with it. I'm running full speed. Also tried the speed potion a FEW times. I thought I had it by not triggering his dialogue.

It's got to be a performance thing. Even though I'm running the performance improving mod, my sprint speed is not up to par. I made it through everything else in the finale fine, but this crane is literally impossible for me to complete under normal game conditions.

I have never once used a sprint potion, I make it across the crane before missile 1 is even done exploding.

You must be getting some serious lag somewhere.

I'm standing up from the jump onto the arm when the first one goes off..
I'm going to try turning nearly everything off for this section.

you should always have everything off imho, if the game doesn't run optimally for you, swallow some pride and play low.

Try jumping earlier then you believe you should. Had the same problem and after i just 'too early' for my own gut feeling i managed to grab hold anyway. You can visibly miss a ledge/grab and the game often just lets you hold on anyway :derp:

After completely disabling all in game shadows I made it.. Didn't feel like I was moving faster though. I don't know.

Now that I'm at the end, I don't really mind doing this. I just wanted to experience some of the games atmosphere lol

You weren't moving faster, you reduced your input lag. Keep shadows off, there is a much harder jump just before you finish climbing.
