Molotovs are overpowered
I really think these weapons of mass destruction needs to be nerfed. Make some kind of maximun you can carry. 5 would be good and you can only get more from your main base.

You can kill almost anything with no efforts at all with these firebombs.

No, they don't need a nerf. You dont like them don't use them.

Fire does tend to hurt quite a bit.

Yes fire is an effective weapon, that's no reason to nerf it though.

Seems to be powerful, but I rarely use them myself, also hello Vaari.

No they don't need to be nerfed, they work as they are supposed to work. I'm curious, in your opinion just how are they supposed to work in your little world? I guess you want them to only burn slightly and not cause hardly any damage? Theirs more then enough Zombies out there in mass packs that you need these to thin out those masses. Like the other guys said, if you don't like them don't waste your resources on making them.

As someone who made many-a-molotov in his youth, I can vouch for their real-world effectiveness. I do think there should be a difficulty mode that disables all enemies on the map, makes it so you can't carry as much and you have to scavenge more, but the items you do find last longer...just my thoughts on keeping this game going a month or two down the line.

Wait until you get around 13++ survivor level, your basic melee weapon has more damage than police rifle (above 200), at lv 20++ you are able to swing at random place yet still able to kill a horde, 3 shot any boss type mob without any effort (1 Shot with well placed whirlwind).

Molotovs are pretty much useless against anything other than basic enemies (unless you toss in tons of them in which case you'd be better off killing them with other stuff). Even stronger human enemies can take 1-2 molotovs without dying.

Molotovs are fine. They are good at what they are supposed to be good at, making a barbecue out of a horde of zombies ;)

Kinda need Molotovs to clear the brigde for that awsome loot tho. Btw that heavy policetruck-area on the bridge just respawn right each day?

Ever tried to throw bottle of flammable alcohol like molotov? It does not cause massive firestorm. Rather it burns fast on the ground with blue flame.
They really are an overpowered tool in the game, can get nearly 11 regular zombie kills with just one molotov, you can toss them at your feet when sprinting away at night, they wont hurt you and you wont recieve fire damage, but those volitiles will. Takes about 4 to kill a demolisher, they can be made rather easily, and with perks you could raid 3 to 5 apartments and walk away with 50 molotovs.

You must have some weak ass Demolishers in your game. I just tried using 20 molotovs (made sure they each did as much fire damage as possible), the demolisher hardly even flinched.

I don't think it needs a nerf, but it's hard to justify it that way, this game is totally incoherent.

I mean, we have almost infinite stamina to run, kick, dive, etc...but 4 swings with a light weight weapon is enough to make you dizzy...that's really lame IMHO.

I understand they are trying to make the game not so easy, but I would prefere a more coherent overall, where you get tired of running and climbing much faster while you can swing your weapon much more times before getting exhausted.

Same for weapons, why make them so unrealistically fragile if you can simply make them much more rare to find or fix?
