This. Also the first boxes on the walls in any building. It's all random though, so just keep looking.

How do you mean it can't be tracked? There is no map icon to follow if that is what you mean. You track that quest and then loot them from the first aid kits found on the walls of buildings.

I was not thrilled with how those quests worked. Magically changing up what is normally in those containers for just one quest isn't very intuitive, especially since you can do other quests without tracking them.

Track the quest, or set as active. (it's just how you call it)

There is no objective marker. Both "Bandages and Meds" and the one for lighter fluid needs to be the active quest in order to have the items appear.

The quest "firebug" brings you to a trainhangar (i don't know the right word, srry). In the smaller compartment you can find 3 1st aidboxes. Simply set "bandages and meds" as tracked (active) quest and you will gather all or most syringes and piankillers in one go.

There has never been a more idiotic design element in a game then to have to have the quest as the active one to be able to complete it. I had like 15 coffee in my inventory when I got teh coffee quest yet I had to go out and collect more coffee to advance the collection of teh quest.

These devs are ignorant sadistic trash.
