That's almost my exact thought process, I figured it would be better, but wtf with the jump button? Wasn't sure I could do that.
lol agreed i find myself constantly spamming the A button then realizing that the button layout is a little different from the Dead Island layout. it seems its the only button they changed in the layout. but after an hour or so of playing i got the hang of pressing the RB instead so its not all that bad
The controls are all over the place, and variable. Constantly changing positions leads to a lot of misfired actions.
Try switching from your dying flashlight, to a flare, while looking back and running, changing weapons, using survivor sense, and parkouring.
You are able, and expected to do so.
I don't know if it is better with a pad, but it is cumbersome at best with kb+m.
