That first boss fight (spoilers)

How are you supposed to beat that first boss in the arena area? I get that you're supposed to hit him from behind but the only weapons I've got do poor damage and I can barely put a dent in him.

Also when I die the normal zombies respawn making it even more difficult.

Hmm, I think I tried that, his melee attack knocks you back when you get close.

Was a rinse repeat of having him.
Run at me
Dodge out the way so he hits a wall
When he stops and gets his breath back, bash away.
Repeat.

Wasn't the most fun but it didn't take me too long.

well there's firecrackers on top of the crates that will confuse him long enough for 1-2 hits, or for balls deep go full out until he smacks you.

lol theres gas pipe and ♥♥♥♥ on top of the shipping containers. Climb up onto those, grab any weapons you can and throw it at him. If you hit his flesh it will damage him. Another tip is avoid dodging straight backwards cause the shockwave will still knock you down/back. Dodging sideways is usually a better option, GL!

No it's the boss when you're betrayed by Rais and you have to fight him in an area with all these freighter containers. it's like a makeshift arena of sorts.

oh ok, lol. i only got to play this morning for a few hours thanks to the optimization BS, i finally found a way to play without it wreaking havoc on my GPU.

Completed this earlier; bit of a pain but not too difficult in the end. Entice him near the containers and stand on the top of them, wait for him to pick up and throw concrete from the ground and then jump down and whack him and couple of times and then jump back up on top of the container. He wont be able to hit you if you're on top and out of his site.

There is weapons lying around on the ground which you can use if yours becomes damaged. There are a few zombies that get released during the battle so when that happens, get up high on the containers and kill them on top of there so you don't get bulldozed by him.

has anyone tried using the throwing stars? they might work to get his HP down enough to smack the crap out of him lol
