Lockpicking on the keyboard should be easier.
So if you're lockpicking on a pad/controller you just have to feel for the vibration, mechanics for that are good.. but for the keyboard it's made 10x harder. For me the lockpicks shake on the screen even if i touch nothing, so i don't get how i can do it. I simply haven't, i am having to switch to the controller to pick locks everytime, but i prefer keyboard for gameplay. It's currently my only dislike of this game though, but it should be easier for kb use in comparison to pad.

Nope. Wrong. You can picklock every single lock, even very hard one, with just one picklock. Don't push it, that's all.

It's just like skyrim, it quakes if you're missing the spot.
The controller vibrate is more of an immersion thing. Just tap A and learn the wobble then it becomes a learned trait to notice a wobble vs an unlock.

I find lockpick on keybord easy as pie but i got alot of practice from fallout and skyrim.

your lock pick souldn't shake if your toching nothing though.

Yeah this is why i think i am having trouble because i can't find the right areas to turn as the lockpicks wobble no matter what.

Lockpicking is easy. Take your time, and you'll master it with ease.

for me even very hard lockpick are easy you just need to find the littel sweet spot whit some try i break only a few lockpick just need a littel pratice and you can do anyone like it nothing

You just need to tap A as you move the mouse around when your in the right spot it wont shake so push A longer if it shakes move the mose again sometimes the movement needed on the mouse is so small it can be hard to get used to all i can say is keep trying and you'll get the hang of it.

Really? I respect your opinion OP, but I find it to be EXTREMELY easy in Dying Light. Locks that are labeled "hard difficulty" are extremely easy as well.

My complaint on this topic would be that the damn lockpicks are too easy. Techland imitated Bethesda's lockpick and gimped it by making it way too easy.

I guess I would understand if you have not played those games before so it seems difficult to you. Wolfenstein's lockpick is ultimately easy, but annoying as hell. Now that is an annoying lockpick. =o)

I have never played a game with lockpicking that i have found hard.

Then agin is not that hard in real life either depending on the type of lock.

I give up. Can't do it. Find the right area it turns 90% of the way then breaks anyway.

If you can make 90% you can make 100% keep trying you will get it.

I've managed to open the one i was working on but about 7 lockpicks later haha, i still don't think it's as easy as it could be. My lockpicks shake all the time so i don't see any difference when it's wrong or right. Thanks for help people, but i'm afraid i'm a lost cause.

I wish there was no lockpicking at all. Its so freaking tedious. Not fun, not challenging.
