The controller vibrate is more of an immersion thing. Just tap A and learn the wobble then it becomes a learned trait to notice a wobble vs an unlock.
your lock pick souldn't shake if your toching nothing though.
My complaint on this topic would be that the damn lockpicks are too easy. Techland imitated Bethesda's lockpick and gimped it by making it way too easy.
I guess I would understand if you have not played those games before so it seems difficult to you. Wolfenstein's lockpick is ultimately easy, but annoying as hell. Now that is an annoying lockpick. =o)
I have never played a game with lockpicking that i have found hard.
Then agin is not that hard in real life either depending on the type of lock.
If you can make 90% you can make 100% keep trying you will get it.
