So everytime I die, it says "lost 800 survivor points". What is that, if that's XP, do I lose skills? Why should I care exactly? I am not going to be careful not die if my weapons are not going to be efficient. :D

You lose XP.

No, "survivor points", if it's XP in the Survivor branch, then that means what for the skills?

The survivor skill is basically your character level, the higher you get the stronger weapons you can use/buy.

Survivor skill? Why do we keep adding terms lol... Survivor Points is what the death message says. Survivor Rank is what the Skills menu says (with the three Survirvor, Agility and Power).
Are we talking about the Survivor Rank, and that XP bar, and that "Level" thing?

And because Google isn't interested in Dying Light:

Where can I find a list of ways to get survivor points/XP, and how much exactly is rewarded?
ArcKnight Feb 7, 2015 @ 12:17am
uh i dont know if theres a list or anything, you get survivor points based on your level so a level 24 gets more for turning in disastor relief packages than a level 3 person,

ways to get survivor xp off the top of my head are the disastor relief packages, helping other survivors, surviving the night, and completing missions.

Can I farm "surviving the night" by just going out and avoiding volatiles (not hurting anyone)?
ArcKnight Feb 7, 2015 @ 12:22am
yea you can,

pretty sure disastor relief packages give the most, with surviving the night in secound, then missions, then helping other survivors.

Cool! That's very good help. I like the night because I'm a positive person and things an only get better in the circumstances of the night.

Survivor points is your xp for the survivor skill tree. Any points you lose only counts towards the points required for the next level. You will not level down and those lost points does not count toward your agility and power skill trees.

You can level/farm your survivor points by collection airdrop packages. Those increases your pts significantly and even better if you pick them up at night. The bonus double points you get during the night is for agility and power so if you avoid combat at night you will level your agility tree and quickly out level power so pick off lone walkers when you get a chance.
