I have both the talent that gives the weapon more durability, and possibly extra repair charges. But I personally like fighting enough that I still burn through weapons fast enough I just can't see any justification for using upgrades.
Dying Light gearscore: 9000
Honestly I really like that weapons come and go quite often. I felt it corrected a problem Dead Island had where you got all the weapons you wanted a simply kept repairing them. But I feel like it would have made more sense to make upgrades have infinite uses, nerf them to compensate of course, that's simply my opinion.
Get higher level.
Also, use your upgraded weapons for special zombies.
Like it was BiS gear. XD
Dominant Strategy.
DayZ: "Why are weapons not like real life?"
or
Dead Rising: "Why dont I have a Katana that can kill 500 zombies?"
The answer is, this is Dying Light.
You are a Runner, not a Barbarian.
There you go Techland, I even gave you a backstory. Let's get this done.
People need to just accept that this isnt Dead Island 3 and move on.
The only issue I have is that STILL after 2 games they still want me to throw my rare ass weapons at enemies and risk them bugging through the ground.
