Don't worry man im getting the same green flashes.. almost looks like artifacts but i know for a fact its not due to an overclock.

Is your card over clocked though? If it is how do you know it isn't causing it? A video card overclock could run all day long on Furmark or some synthetic benchmark but will often fail in an actual game. Benchmark stability does not ensure gameplay stability.

You better stop playing dying light, or your gpu gonna die soon.

I just encountered this problem myself and I hope I can help someone here.

I fixed it by going to the UEFI BIOS and disabled XMP mode on my RAM.

Pointless overclocking your GPU for this game anyway as it has a dx11 CPU bottleneck.

I think its some sort of chromatic aberration mixed in with some weird motion blurring that isn't disabled even through the menu, I generally only notice it in my peripheral or when I'm rotating my view. I've noticed it too and it sort of gives me a headache from extended play.

Hello everyone,

We’re working on solving issues some of you are experiencing with Dying Light.
You can help us fix them faster! Just create a Dxdiag file and send it together with your Logs files
to piotr.leusz@techland.pl.

How to do it:

1. Create a Dxdiag file. Read how here: http://en.support.techland.pl/support/solutions/articles/4000042573-creating-dxdiag-file
2. Copy all your Logs files. You can find them on your computer in: My Documents\dyinglight\out\logs\
3. Copy all your Dumps files. You can find them on your computer in: steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light\dumps\

4. Attach all these files and SEND WITH YOUR STEAM PROFILE NAME AND TOPIC'S URL. !!!

5. Send it to: piotr.leusz@techland.pl

This will help us immensely in fixing the issues you may have.

I am having this same issue a year later! disabling Nvidia depth of field fixed the worst of the psychedelic full-screen flashing, but the red, green and blue diamond "sparks" are still popping up at random. has there been any progress on fixing this? or at least some fix I can perform that will remove this issue?
