Side quest priority?
So...I'm just curious if available side quests disappear if you push on through the game. I play with a group of friends and some of them aren't the biggest fan of immersing themselves in the sidequests and just have sort of a 'race to the finish' mentality with the story. I'd be fine with sticking to the main story and cleaning up the sidequests on my own later, but I'm just worried if certain events in the story with prevent the completion or activation of some side quests. As it is right now, we'll make a tiny bit of progress in the story, then pause and tackle any side stuff that pops up. Do I have anything to worry about if we just push through the story, or is this course neccissary if i wanna do ALL the sidequests?

You can revisit and complete them easily: I finished the game then went back and finished up all the side quests.

The majority of them will still be there. I seem to remember a couple that vanished after I completed the game. (was just a couple)

Yeah, the one with that journalist guy (I think his name was Neil Fallon or something like that. You have to get his satchel from a cafe and then a camera from a car on the bridge) in the ferry disappear once the barge leaves. Haven't noticed anything else that you can't do later, though.

A bunch of us played non stop sidequests before even advancing the game. By then I was tough enough to tackle the main campaign. I enjoyed doing that.

Okay, so ultimately, it's safest to tackle the sidequests as they appear?

Well, that's what I do, as I find it more fun that way. Plus the zombies get tougher the further you progress in the story. as far as I know, only that one quest has to be done when it shows up in order to complete it, the rest you can do in any order.

So yeah, long story short, you can do any quest whenever you want except for that one on the barge I mentioned earlier.
