Crashing with MSVCR100.dll fault

The game keeps crashing around 40 minutes in with an engine_x64_rwdi.dll error and just crashed 3 minutes in with a MSVCR100.dll error (Changed network option to single-player after the first crash). I just reformated the harddrive and restalled windows 7, steam, followed by dying light and problems persist; I really don't think malicious software is an issue.

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8150 8-core (clocked at 3.91 GHz)
RAM: 16GB (2 KINGSTON KVR16N11/8; in 1st and 3rd port)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 770
PS: TX750
64-Bit Windows 7

I don't really know why I'm having these issues and I'd like to fix them. I'm running a little hot (over clocked after installing a different MBoard) however running a prime95 stress test for just under 24HRs yielded no issues.

Steam is installed in program files (x86) which I know causes some problems for some games, but this is the first time I've run into this particular one so I'm hesitant to start moving things around. Help fixing the problem would be much appreciated.

P.S. I'm not a computer genius so assuming that I'm just smart enough to look up my own info would be safest in helping me understand. Just thought I'd make it easy on everyone trying to give me advice :) .

Iinstall x64 version again and note the game only runs in 64bit OS.

Steam folder doesnt matter but i'd move the steam folder to another Harddrive if possible if issues persist and reinstall steam app there.

Nope still doing it. I only have one harddrive, would making another partition make any difference?
