2) There is no loot that your character can use. And thus there is no better loot.
So one more follow up query.
I'm running around unlocking the safehouses that are far out of the way presently, and I have picked up two airdrops and not returned them yet.
Will I get credit for both airdrops when I make my way back to the quartermaster, or am I shooting myself in the foot and stacking them only to get credit for one when I finally make my way back to turn them in?
Thanks again in advance for your help.
Ronin Ghost
Also (and I'm not 100% sure of this) you get more credit for drops you collect at night - it doesn't matter when you turn them in.
You just moved ahead of "Sleepy" as my favorite Dwarf. :)
Almost leveled up three survivor ranks that day XD
The "advantage" of going after airdrops at night is the fact you can take as long as you want to get to them, because the other faction's men won't come out at night for obvious reasons. That's of course assuming you get there before dawn. Also interestingly enough the area aroud a drop produces UV light thanks to the flare dropped with it, which is an interesting quirk.
While you don't get more xp from the airdrops, every minute spent outside of a safe zone at night give you survivor xp as long as you don't die. Every xp gained in agility and power is also doubled.
