Should the night hunter count as a "zombie"?
I mean the hunter is more like some resident evil type ♥♥♥♥ than what I think would be classified as a zombie. I mean it has human equivalent intelligence (since it's human controlled) so what exactly does that make it? I have no idea. When I heard of the Be the Zombie gamemode before I got the game I thought you got to play as a biter or a volatile even and just search for a player throughout the city or something. Idk it's just that the name "be the zombie" is a bit misleading i'm just saying. Not that I don't like being the night hunter though..

Well this particular virus doesn't bring people back to life. It's rabies, an extremely powerful variant apparently. Rabies makes animals try to bite people which spreads the disease. Until they enter the next phase which reduces their agression but damages their nervous system and brain, followed by death. Even though rabies doesn't make humans bite each other this strain apparently does so I guess that NONE of the zombies in this game are real zombies in the whole voodoo sense. They can still bleed out which indicates that they still need a metabolism to live. Dying lights zombies could probably die of old age if they lived healthy zombie lives. Unlike those walking dead zombies which are basically immortal until they get killed.
