How to get a gun?

I only have knives at the moment, I don't know how to get guns, can somebody help me on how to obtain it?

The slums in the bottom right corner of the first map, there is a lone hut by the beach, and it has a pistol inside. Eventually you can fight human enemies that have guns as well

you will unlock guns as you play the game, around level 10~15 i think survivor it starts to appear on shops and suplies on the base

On just the second in-game day the Quartermaster gave me a pistol and a shotgun for free. I gave the pistol away as part of side-quest though, kinda wished I hadn't.

Walking out of the entrance of the Tower, turn left. Go straight to the dry creek bed. Follow the creek bed till it splits. Go to the right, first house has a pistol and ammo and a trophy. Happy Hunting

The best option is the Dying Light - Rust Weapon Pack, as in this FREE DLC you can make your first weapon from the garbage that you can find at the beginning of the game

3. Ask for random players
4. Next to the pier, at the house of a fisherman's friend < escort mission >
5. increase the survival lvl, and buy weapons in the shop
