Crane doesn’t need the Antizin??
When GRE cuts off the antizin airdrops, Crane doesn’t even mention that he himself needs it, for he is infected. I assume you need like one shot in 3-5 days, you get a shot at Dr.Zerre’s lab at the beggining, then you get the other shot in the museum. Is the whole main story supposed to happen in 5 days? Do I break the immersion for myself by not playing the story for a week(ingame)?

During the game Crane takes a vial of Antizin for himself which obviously would have a bunch of doses in it so he could ride out awhile giving himself his own doses as needed. Some of the game is just implied knowledge and plot holes lol.

But doesn’t Dr.Zere use the whole vial when he give him a shot? It looked so. I know this is probably just too deep, but when Dr.Zere gives him a shot, theres not way to know how much he gave him, the vial isn’t transparent, there isn’t any kind of markers.

No later in the game you burn a crate of antizin for the GRE but you take 1 vial for yourself before you do so. This happens after the Dr. Zere quest.

This story is crappily written so there are a bunch of things that make no sense.

Being not great, and crappily written are far from each other. I feel this game lends itself more to the former than the latter.

Yes, there's quite a bit of skill involved with holding down the buttons for forward movement and sprint.

You really don't want to make that jump, or you will find out how awful the ending is.

This post should have a trigger warning. That ending gave me PTSD.

I really don't get why Crane didn't just hide the Antizen that he found rather than burn it considering he was infected already so after that happened I just pretty much skipped every cutscene and didn't give a damn about any of the characters all I did was enjoy the world I was in and the free running and killin zombies.

Apparently there is. I failed that crane bit one time because I didn't see it coming and had been going so fast up until that point that I was faffing about a bit before running on, and as I was messing about, I see this crane begin to drop and I'm watching it like "oh wow, pretty, cool stu- OH ♥♥♥♥ I GUESS I GOTTA GO THERE, NOOOOOO", died, then loaded up again and cleared it in one go, no problemo.

Well i dont think the story is that bad as some people say, it can be easily compared to other AAA game stories... but i agree on some parts since i just could not connect to it either...
Crane was actually pretty interesting for the must part and i could get a feel for him at some parts of the story... but the other characters... hmm i just didnt feel anything for anyone... dying living... i just didnt care for them.
And it doesnt takes much for me to get attached... i even felt sad for the chick in AC:Unity : )
Maybe its because of the area of the game? Or maybe its indeed lacking in some way... honestly i got no idea.

I didn't even find it an ending at all. You get the GRE file from Rais - the pivotal plot point that had been driving you all along, the whole point of getting to Rais (other than revenge) - and had to go deliver it to that doctor Camden. But suddenly, the game's over. The story halts. The entire world feels like it's stuck in continuity limbo. The antizin drops have stopped, but somehow no one is freaking out about it, everything's entirely fine. The world doesn't progress or change in any way whatsoever, and if you go to Dr. Camden's lab, it's just a closed-down area with nothing in it. The story isn't resolved in any way whatsoever, nor does the game give any kind of way to resolve to cliffhanger or wrap it up in any way whatsoever to lead in to a sequel. Sure, Dying Light 2 will be made, and the story (hopefully) will just pick right up from Dr. Camden's lab, but that doesn't mean that they had to just hack off the story of the game as soon as you kill Rais and get the GRE file, bam, done. It's jarring, abrupt, and leads to that continuity limbo I mentioned before. They could have at least had some last mission or cutscene or SOMETHING after the main story arc was over, where you find and take over Rais's strongholds and find loads of stored antizin, to give some explanation as to why you and your friends aren't freaking the f- out about the stop of antizin drops, and to bridge the gap between the end of this story, and the beginning of the story in Dying Light 2. Some kind of f-ing exposition on that topic, in some form, at least.

I am really curious what's going to happen story-wise in the Following, as it seems that it's got it's own area and main story arc unrelated to the whole Rais story arc. Will they address those stopped antizin drops, at all? Or will they just gloss over and ignore the main storyline in the game, where Dr. Camden's still waiting on that GRE file, The Following being an entirely self-contained side-story?
