How can i faster find alcohol and metal?

loot as many trashcans and corpses as possible. I have more than 700 metal and just 40 alcohol. its rare. but not impossible to find

Kill zombies and loot them, look in containers - or get the companion app and run the "Bad Neigbourhood" /"Lost Soul" missions a whole bunch of times and then send the items to your game.

The fastes way to kill zombies that I found it to go to the bridge - find a van with a gas puddle and just keep tossing fire crackers into the gas - this will kill attract zombies that then burn to death. spend as long as you can stomach doing this and then loot. ( looting can take a while, grab the packages from despawned zombies first )

Alcohol can be found most often in fridges and Jump Drink cabinets. Fridges in pharamcies seem to be slightly more likely to find alcohol.

For metal parts it's really easy, just disassemble weapons you don't want to use. Dumpsters often have metal pipes which are free metal parts. Metal parts are super-common and you'll have hundreds by the mid-game.

This guy knows. Also, if you don't really need money, dismantle any spare weapons you get, you'll always have a supply of metal that way (also nails in the case of wooden boards etc)
