Avoid Volatiles and Return to the Tower Help
No matter what I do, I cannot beat this mission. I just found the antizin drop and burned it, then this mission came. I died and spawned in a safe house, but you can't do anything there and you need to get to the tower. However, I try to sneak around on back roads/forests to get there, use my survivor sense to make sure they have their backs turned and are far away enough, but they always seem to get me. At one point, a Volatile even came out of a porta potty. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ porta potty. How did you guys beat this mission, and what can I do to beat it?

UV flash or UV flare is your weapon and their weakness.
Well let's say that the Volaitles is vulnurable to the day light. That's why you don't find them at day.

not anymore

anyways go on roof tops,or climbing/hanging

unless your about at same level they'll miss you ,fire crackers distract them ,and i suggest advoiding street level since they are generally full of zombies,o yes and advoid conflict since zombies in combat can go into infected and chase you (but gives up any UV resistants they had in process) moreless near the tower they have a increased spawn rate durning this ,so it likely they'll pop up from any sewer entry ,so i suggest you either sprint for it or try to take a side route

I've been trying to take the side routes. Can I use the UV flashlight as my flashlight and the volatiles still won't go after me?

No on the UV,the uv has a battery life and UV only stuns them for so long

here a route, from the package i use which helps advoid a major amount

Starting at the package go down the hill (aka to the water) to the shack on a platform which is surrounded by water, now go in the shack by busting a window and hide in there for abit, they'll either die or walk off (they can't swim) ,now go in the water and follow the coast after they leave ,go along that river til you encounter large amounts and stay on rooftops when you can (careful there is a goon to the right as you come to the villiage but he is dumb and most likely will leave you be) ,go along that to the van safehouse and go in it ,wait for a good time to run to the tower and try to stay again on roofs

that route will follow either water or a old canal both have low zombie spawn areas and zombie amounts ,you'll meet maybe 1 or 2 small groups

i have lol ,when you lag abit and keep running the game literally reduces your run speed (by about half, since even a new guy can outrun my maxed charater)

Just got the game recently and this was the first time I've had some trouble. Glad I'm not the only one. Gonna try Honor Guard's route and if that fails, I'll use the UV light when needed (completely forgot I had that haha)

may i suggest if you get caught go in the water and dive ,they'll give up rather fast

I don't mean to cause offense, honestly, but even though the game is hyped to seem hard to play at night it's actually incredibly easy. I've never died at night. The only times I've died is while afk, glitching through a floor really high and dying of fall damage, or not hearing the gas canister on the back of a walker hissing before it exploded.
The volatiles are extremely easy to avoid as you see them on yer map up in the top right. You can outrun them if they see you, and with the camoflage skill you can walk straight past them with your finger up.
And at this point in the game if 1 or 2 of them DO manage to somehow get close enough to me and spot me, I can kill them without dying but tend to need a medkit when I'm done with them. Although doing that, you'll need to be quite a high level. I kill maybe 20 per night just to increase combat and agility skills.

I'm pretty sure I don't have the camouflage skill, and the Volatiles have caught up to me even while running and jumping onto roofs and cars.
