Report a translation problem
A better villain, as is usually the case, would be someone you can relate with... Someone like Ra's al Ghul; the variant of the Batman Begins trilogy at least. Bad things happened to him and people around him, cruelty that has no end. You could see that he still had compassion right down to the moment of his death, while still undoubtedly being evil.
So if they gave Rais a more gray personality with a more elaborate "this is how he became evil" would probably have made a big difference.
That... and removing the terrible QTE ending... that just came out of nowhere.
