How to craft The BEST weapon in the game

Seeing as how many people there are in the game right now, I want to give you guys a bit of advice on how to get the best weapon in the game for PVE

1) Confirm your game purchase on techlandgg website. Go to pilgrim's outpost, accept your bounties, complete them, level up your account to get points and buy blueprints for Last Hope (25p) or The Wasp (10p)

2) Find God Hammer weapon blueprint found in Old Town. Google the precise location

3) Run Harran Prison DLC for easy King Mods. Clear it fast for Guru rewards. That's like 7 Kings guaranteed each run plus other helpful items you can grab from the armory before the clock runs out

4) Run Bozak's Horde DLC. There's a method to get 2 dockets fairly simple. Doesn't require too much out of you, anybody can do it. I suggest you watch a YT video on how to do it exactly as it's hard to describe in words. If you can't do the method, run it normally, and reset after the first docket as it's the fastest one to get

Redeem your dockets at quartermaster to try to get 2-handed golden Pickaxe. This is a rare drop. You will be mostly getting knives and some other dumb stuff. Finding that 2h Pick is rather hard, so when you do drop one make sure you duplicate it if you want


Once you've done all the steps, you should be able to get a weapon that with 25 levels of 1h Legendary do around 7700-7800 damage, depending on the base dmg value of your 2hPickaxe. These values can vary. If you get multiple Pickaxes, you will see it for yourself. The difference, however, is completely negligible, as, at most, you can only lose like 1% of the weapon's damage, if even that

This is THE BEST DEALING damage weapon in the game, hands down. Fast Swing, huge Handling that will allow you to swing it 24/7 without tiring even without using any kind of Stamina Boost/Potion/Legendary Levels (Handling affects how many swings you can do before tiring)

The weapon also has immensely great durability that will keep you swinging for a very long time

There simply isn't a greater weapon unless you were to talk about ranged weapons like Golden Barrel Semi-Auto Shotgun (the best one)

Finally, what is the difference between the two weapons? Last Hope and The Wasp, that is? Nothing much. They have identical stats once you max them out.

However, The Wasp is only 10p and can be acquired earlier and in my personal tests it may have slightly bigger reach than Last Hope. Need confirmation on that one. I tested both by trying to hit a wall, and one in five/seven swings of The Wasp could actually connect from certain range where I couldn't with Last Hope. Do not quote me, however, this is just purely my test

If anything, you can get both weapons, however, do not waste your points. Instead, use your points to get Neon Storm Buggy skin (the best one, the brightest/shiniest) one

Also, you can try getting Spectral Bat, however, it's a weapon, singular use, not a blueprint, so be careful not to throw it and lose it forever. Duplicate that one if you want. It's just a fun weapon to have, try using that weapon in The Slums throwing Biters off the bridge, works like a charm. A bit slow with its wind-up time to execute a power move

Dragon's Breath should be the best bow in the game. It just so happens that bows lose to guns quite hard in DPS so don't expect even the best bow to be that amazing. Use Crossbows instead if you want to 1 shot Volatiles with a headshot

Other than that, the website TechlandGG doesn't really have that many other rewards unfortunately. Many of them are locked to events that are no longer running for DL1 (maybe beg Techland?)

For those that don't want to do this (including me), the Volatile Baton is not far off in terms of stats.

Crossbows have a very niche use and considering the shotgun can already do what they do, I would say the bow is better in any other situation, providing you got the gold DLC bows. I've easily kited groups of virals with just the bow, on nightmare, something that's just not possible with a crossbow due to its slow reload.

If you legitimately think that a double barrel re-skin is somehow more powerful than 2x more damageful 8 ammo-in-the-magazine fast firing semi-auto shotgun, then I just can't help you.

Your hellbeast is only seemingly so good because you are either on Normal mode, or your zombies haven't evolved to their latest stage yet (Max Rank Survival skill)


Also, the problem is you think your bow is good of a weapon to kill some....virals? The guys that go down faster than Biters? Really? I want to see you using a bow taking down Evolved (black) Volatile. Have fun with that one

A crossbow can headshot a regular volatile with 1 shot, just FYI, not so sure about Max Leg. Levels one. Won't be enough for evolved one but I could be wrong

You're clearly not aware of it. Numbers aren't everything, hellbeast is at least on par with a 10k+ semi auto even though it's damage is lower. I can easily blast any volatile with it in 1 or two shots. Also the freaks? They get deleted by it. Don't even get a chance to attack usually.

Dawnlight might be another contender for bursting volatiles but I haven't tried that.

And you didn't read did you? I did this on nightmare. Maybe you're the one playing on normal. Plus I already said that I don't use the bow against volatiles but apparently you skimmed over that as well.

You aren't linking anything lol, you are just verifying your game

That is techland's official website for DL1/DL2 rewards, it simply doesn't get any more legit than that. It's not intrusive, the game will not give you any pop-ups related to the website whatsoever. It's harmless. It just so happens the website will give you rewards that are otherwise only claimable using mods from 3rd party sources

1. VHB is weaker by all parameters than Last Hope, lower damage, has same-grade weapon mod though. How is it better though?

Weapons are a scam. Why use a limited resource to deal damage when you can use your own infinite durability body to drop kick enemies off buildings and into spikes?

I dont have time to deal with techlands registration if its so non nefarious then why do i need to register? they are collecting info and to me this is sleazy ....I gave my email to steam already should be good enough
